Project overview：This wastewater treatment plant in Weifang City, Shandong Province is located in Weifang Binhai Chemical Industry Park. The plant undertakes to treat chemical wastewater thoroughly from the chemical industry park. The wastewater compositions are complex, organic pollutants inside are stable with poor biodegradability and high chroma, and hard to be treated by biochemical process. Our company built an electrochemical pretreatment system,, which COD removal ratio is over 60%, the B/C ratio is improved from 0.1 to over 0.35. The effluent then enters the biochemical system for further treatment and finally qualified discharge. The project was put into operation in July 2013 and has been running steadily so far.
