Landfill leachate is a kind of organic wastewater with complex components, a large number of " carcinogenic and teratogenic" compounds and heavy metals. If improperly treated, the leachate will pollute groundwater, drinking water surface sources, thus harming to the environment and human body drastically.

The membrane-concentrated leachate effluent treated by this process can qualify the first-class A standard of " Standard for Pollution Control on the Landfill Site of Municipal Solid Waste " (GB16889-2008). The quality of the effluent  can even reach the domestic water reuse standard of " Code for Desing of Wastewater Reclamation and Reuse " (GB50335-2002).

The effluent quality after biochemical and membrane bioreactor system (MBR) cannot qualify  the discharge standard thoroughly, so the effluent from MBR system needs further advanced treatment.

The degradation process of" LDF Advanced Oxidation+ LEC Electrocatalytic Oxidation- Reduction" is the most effective treatment method at present,  which are also conformed to the concept of environmental protection and energy conservation. This method can not only technically treat the concentrated solution, but also not produce other concentrated solution, thus realizing the purpose of fundamental reduction.
